Registration
You can register for the courses in the “Familienzelt” by telephone, e-mail or in person on site. Upon receipt of your registration, you will promptly receive an invoice, which serves as confirmation of registration and includes all course details. It is not permitted to attend courses without prior registration and confirmation from us. For reasons of space, courses may only be attended by an accompanying adult. However, the accompanying person may change. The first aid course is an exception. Here 2 people may attend together.
Course fees
The course fee is due on the date stated on the invoice to the bank account stated on the invoice. If payment is not made on time or a notification of the reason for the delay in payment is not received, the course place may be allocated to another interested party. The course fee is due in full, regardless of whether all dates are attended. If registration is made for a course that has already started, only the remaining dates will be invoiced.
Discounts
Parent pairs and twin siblings receive a discount for certain course types.
Withdrawal / Cancellation from the course
Cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the start of the course. The deadline is the date of receipt of your message in the office (by telephone, e-mail or in person). If your course fee has already been received by this time, it will be refunded less a processing fee of 5 euros.
Cancellation of a course that starts in less than 14 days or is already running does not release the participant from the obligation to pay. The (partial) refund of the course fee will only be made if a replacement participant is provided independently. Non-attendance at the start of the course or absence from the course is not considered as deregistration and has no influence on the payment obligation.
Cancellation of the entire course
Should we be forced to cancel the course for an important reason (e.g. illness of the course instructor or insufficient number of participants), we are obliged to refund the full course fee.
Cancellation of individual course dates
If individual course dates have to be canceled for good cause during the course, these will take place on alternative dates. In the event of a partial cancellation, the fees for the canceled dates will be refunded. There are no further claims against the association.
Liability
The Selbstbestimmte Geburt association and its legal representatives and vicarious agents are only liable for grossly negligent or intentional behavior; the same applies to other persons (vicarious agents), insofar as the association must accept responsibility for their behavior.
Parents’ duty to supervise their children continues during their visit to our “Familienzelt” facility. The association assumes no liability for the property of course participants.
Data protection
The association collects personal data when you register for a course. The office and the course instructors use the data provided to the association exclusively for the purpose of running courses and processing contracts concluded with course participants. The data will not be passed on to third parties.
